Sweet sugar snap pea, excellent for freezing. May be cooked whole when young or when fully mature shelled and cooked like normal peas. Also good for pea shoots. Very tasty however they are eaten.
Peas do best in a rich soil that is neutral to slightly alkaline, with a pH of 6.5-7.
Sow 4-5cm (1½-2″) deep
Plant 5cm (2″) apart in single or double rows.
Space rows 180cm (72″) apart.
