An early variety which produces over a long period, high yields of beautiful yellow pencil podded, stringless, fine wax beans of 12-13cm (4-5”) on a compact plant. Good resistance to disease. RHS AGM
French beans dislike wind and cold and a sudden frost will kill them so grow in a warm and sunny sheltered spot and plant out in June. They grow best in a fertile soil with plenty of organic matter dug in, this should be neutral to slightly acidic with a pH of 5.5-7.
