Use young green fruits as sweet peppers or leave to mature to bright red for hot chilies. Long pointed yellow fruit is 4”-6” long and is often pickled.
Chillies require a long growing season and should be started early at a temperature of 18 – 21°C (64-70°F) in order to guarantee germination. They like heat and humidity and best grown under glass or even on a sunny window, although it is possible to grow them in a sheltered, sunny spot.
