Sown in late summer and early autumn, this variety can then be harvested in early spring. Highly resistant to bolting, may also be used for normal spring sowings for summer cropping. Easy to grow and reliable.
Spinach will grow almost anywhere, even in partial shade in summer. It needs a fertile soil which has been enriched with compost or manure or a nitrogenous fertilizer.
Sow 2cm (¾”) deep.
Thin to 7-15cm (3-6″) apart.
Rows 30cm (12″) apart.
