A decorative red skinned spring onion with a crisp texture and a mild flavour. Can be pulled young for salad onions or left to form bulbs for later harvest.
Grow in an open, sunny site with light, well drained soil. Add lime if the pH is lower than 6.5.
Sow direct at 1-2cm (½-¾”) depth.
Sow 1cm (½”) apart.
Space rows 30cm (12″) apart.
